We booked this hotel because everything in Rust near Europa Park was already taken. The village itself is like a little Ghost Town with abandoned buildings. The Hotel on the outside looks like it hasn't been cleaned in 10 years. The rooms are ok. The beds were fine, but the sleeping couch was not really comfortable, screwed up my shoulder.... More

This hotel is really nice, with big and very clean rooms and in a walking distance to Offenburg city center. It is a good choice if you want to visit Strasbourg, because it would take around 20-30 km to get to your destination especially if you go by car. In the room you have different tools that might help you... More

Really nice hotel, not a very big menu but what was on it was lovely especially the pork fillets on sizzler, rooms were good and clean, staff were really friendly and attentive, if you have a large car the parking at the rear is a challenge!!! But parking is available at the front too.

Actually, I was so disappointed by the hotel that I wrote the review while I was there, but it is lost so I will try to remember everything I wanted to mention: I'll start with the good things ( don't worry, it won't be long): *the location is fine they have free WiFi*. Bad things: *The Wifi barely works *... More

We booked our stay here based on the location alone. We left Heidelberg early in the morning and arrived by train before 9am, stored our luggage in a locker at the train station before spending the day on a self guided tour of several stops along the Black Forest Railway and the Hell's Valley Train. (That trip review separately) After... More

When on vacation, we consider several factors in choosing a hotel, then rating it afterwards. Reviews by others are very important, and we do our homework. Also considered are location, price, breakfast, hotel communication. Comfort, lighting, bathroom space, water pressure are all things that make a stay or can ruin it. We try and get hotels that have character or... More

We stayed there for a week. Hotel not too bad, excellent food, and the staff were nice. The location was ideal for us to explore the Black Forest region and nicely close to the centre of Offenburg, which has smallish town but with plenty of shops and cafés. Hotel room clean and well kept. The only drawback, and this is... More

I stayed there while on business in a nearby town. I chose it because it had the best combination of location (near Offenburg's "Altstadt") and amenities, and after staying there, I stand by that choice. The room was comfortable enough - the biggest drawback is the lack of air-conditioning (not uncommon in Germany, but missed by us Americans); however there... More

We were met by a very friendly, English speaking Christiane Lang. Hotel room was clean and spacious. Bed was comfortable and noise level was good. We missed some air conditioning. We had an elevator in the hotel and breakfast was absolutely to die for. The other positive is the close proximity to the railway station, but if you have a... More

We chose this hotel as it was close to the train station, and it was a very easy walk,, even with cases. Despite its name, this is a very average hotel. 4 of us were allocated rooms in the basement, no idea why since the hotel was far from full. No lift, a long staircase down into rooms that felt...
