If you're looking for an "away from it all" holiday and enjoy outdoor pursuits, this is it! The Hubertus/Scloss am see/Heliopark Hotel (they're all the same place!) is idyllically situated on the edge of the lake with the (free) mountain railway nearby, which takes you to Lake Titisee or even Freiburg in an hour. Walking, sailing, rowing, cycling all on the doorstep. The annexe didn't have WiFi, but they happily moved us and even helped set our computer up for it. As in many continental hotels, there are no tea-making facilites in the room so take your own travel kettle.We'll definitely be going back! more
