I have to say, that I booked this stay at Schloss Waldeck through the internet. Whatever webpage I got to to book was not helpful at all. Once at Waldeck, I discovered that they are part of "Ring Hotels" -- if you go through that, you get a much better idea of the accommodations. I was disappointed that our room... more
I couldn't disagree more with the other review of the Schloss Waldeck. I booked the Romantic package, and it was everything I had hoped for. The drive to the hotel was beautiful, with green rolling hills. The front desk lobby was great with amazing antique furniture and suits of armour. We were very dissapointed. This was the second of three Schloss Hotels we stayed in. The other two - one in Daun, the other in Schloss Schnellenberg - were wonderful.
