We arrived to this hotel almost by accident but loved the hospitality of the employees. We truly felt like guests here. Nice clean rooms and beautiful gardens. Quiet area and a great location. I would definitely would recommend it. It felt great to be away from the crowds of tourist, we almost felt a little secluded. Maybe I would only... More

A beautiful place, within a beautiful setting... the staff were very courteous, and helpful. They had no problem during cocktails my husband drinking his own gluten free beer . The room was a bit dated, and I found out not all rooms are the same, but were clean and comfortable. You could use the wifi in the lounge near the... More

We stayed here 2 nights as we were in the area to tour The Eagle's Nest in Berchtesgaden, which was close by. We had a large double room on the first floor in the main building. The room was clean and comfortable and a nice size bathroom. One recommendation that I would make to the hotel would be to add... More

This Hotel is very old, I mean very old looking and there does not seem to be much great things to say about this hotel. The room My friend and I got was very very small, the Bathroom door was so small that we had to duck to get into the bathroom, the floor creeked when you walked around in... More

This is a wonderful choice of lodging. Very well keep property. Short distance from Berchtesgaden. We did a Salzburg day trip from here. As well as Obersalzerg to see "The Eagle's Nest" Very friendly staff. Including the charming owner & his wife. Even there old lab is charming. Not the best choice for my teenagers. But the rest of the... More

My first visit to this most beautiful part of Germany. But my enjoyment was totally overshadowed by the choice of hotel selected for me by my client. The Stoll's Hotel Alpina is a monument to 1970's mountain kitsch. The overriding colour of dark brown, mixed with the numerous three foot religious statues around the hotel gives you a slightly unnerved... More

The place is wonderfully welcoming, It is very clean and well maintained the outside facilities like the pool are 'mature' but to me that just increases the charm. The views from our room was breathtaking. The indoor amenities and rooms are excellent, the staff very helpful and warm to people who can't speak German, The Breakfast was first class and the... More

We spent three happy nights here in July 2012. The hotel is lovely. The room was big with an impressive view and a balcony. The hotel was very clean and all the staff were friendly and welcoming. Herr Stoll was a delightful host, who incidentally spoke good English. Martin was also very friendly and was always on hand with a... More

Beautiful setting and very nice atmosphere with friendly staff. Bedrooms are spacious and comfortable and plenty for children to do including pools and games room. Food hearty and breakfast very nice buffet style with plenty of choice. Stunning views of the Eagles Nest and plenty to do in the local area - Recommended
