We stayed here for a weekend away, expecting a peaceful stay, hotel rooms below average. Like a hostel really. Restaurant was expensive and mediocre food. Spa extra costs and out of use. Sauna also extra and out of use. Swimming pool out of use. Rooms above bowling alley so very very noisy. Paid for two nights but wanted to cancel... More

We stayed here for two days in early October. Although the staff were friend the hotel was ridiculously expensive for a mediocre meal. What they also do not tell you is that the rooms are above a bowling alley which equals no sleep for us throughout our stay. The rooms are way below a travel lodge quality, more like a... More

The food at this hotel is first class in the restaurant . Breakfast is also good . The service is reasonably efficient and the staff are very friendly and helpful . We were in a " comfort room " - supposed to be superior to a standard room . Our room was disappointing in that it was in a new... More

I spent the Christmas season in this charming place in the German country side not too far away from the small town of Wesel with good shopping and restaurants. The hotel offers a wonderful breakfast buffet and the Duden Stube is a delightful bar/coffee shop. The only meal I was able to have time for in the restaurant was the... More

I stay in Haus Duden every time I attend a training in Wesel. It is the perfect place to contemplate after a busy day. The staff makes me feel welcome and they are flexible and do everything to make me feel at home. It is a place where I can be myself.

The female hotel staff gave us a warm welcome. The rooms are comfortable. The food served is very good. The personnel in the restaurant are charming and capable. Not the most luxurious hotels we've stayed in. It is one of the very nicest over all.

We had a very good stay at Hotel Haus Duden. The service is perfect and the people who work there very kind. Great breakfast buffet! Would recommend anyone who is in search for a hotel near Wesel to go here.

It was a pleasure to stay one weekend at Hotel Haus Duden in Wesel. Very friendly service, good price, good food, loved the good breakfast. The weather was really excited. Did a lot of cycling nearby the river "Rhein". Visited Xanten.

I've recently spend a night there during a business trip. The hotel certainly looks the part from the front and the staff is very attentive. Unfortunately the rooms do not live up to this at all. Being located towards the back in a newish extension, they lack any character and feel more like a youth hostel than a four star... More

Charming, clean rooms however no air-conditioning. I'm sure it's no issue in winter but it was really hot whole we were there and we really would have loved to get some cooling. The manager did mention that they would be installing it soon. The breakfast buffets were fantastic. The staff was friendly.
