Rooms are very small, carpets in the room seem quite old? Hotel is ok, but not great. Staff seems not interested in comments, the standard answer is "this is standard in our hotel" which is not very satisfying.

Very nice staff and service at this hotel, if you speak German. We only had breakfast here, which was ordinary continental breakfast. The beds are very good, but there is noise in the morning from the big road leading into Düsseldorf, starting at 6 am.

We had a pleasent stay in this hotel. The position is nice: very close to Dusseldorf, but with green and trees around. At the arrival the person in charge of the reception at night was a bit rough, but this was compensated by the big room, which was super clean and very comfortable. In the morning the breakast was very... More

We recently spent the night here. The room was enormous comfortable but for some Teutonic reasoning had a rowing machine in it. The bathroom was small but adequate, but the beds were very comfortable. It is well located for Dusseldorf or a walk along the Neanderthal Valley. Would stay here again

I stayed here for one night only but it was nice hotel. A little bit outside of Dusseldorf but still close enough. Bar was open late and service was good. Rooms very nice and no noise from outside. The buffet breakfast had enough choices; breads, marmelades, eggs, bacon, yoghurt, cereals, fruit salad etc.

The rooms are small but yet fully equipped. The prices are high and the breakfast costs a lot - about 10-15euros but it was delicious - Swedish dish. When I arrived at the hotel - almost midnight - the staff was not sleeping at all and was very kind.

Nice, friendly hotel, in a leafy location, a few miles out of Dusseldorf. The hotel room was one of the strangest I have ever stayed in. Well, I say room - it was actually an apartment. really. As you walked in the 'bedroom' door, there was a hall, about ten or eleven metres long and three metres wide I suppose.... More

Brief stay in Erkrath found me at the Arcadia for a couple of nights, good location, quick check in, rooms nice large and clean. Alas room was perhaps a little hot with no AC that I could find, thus window ventilation only option which may not be an effective option during a hot summer. Down side of room overlooking entrance... More

Just come back from a week at this hotel The location/quality of the hotel is good for people working in Dusseldorf. However I experienced very serious problems with the reservations made via venere.com. Twice, on successive days, they could not find the reservations that had been confirmed by mail and phone !!! Totally unacceptable especially if you are in a... More

We had an excellent three night stay at this hotel in late February. The charming and efficient hotel receptionist, Felix, was extremely helpful and obliging and contributed to our enjoying our stay. Our initial room was small and cramped but we were upgraded to a spacious apartment which was delightful. The hotel is located in Erkrath, a quiet and attractive... More
