To say the shower "didn't have water pressure" is an understatement. It dribbled so little water, I didn't bother conditioning my hair because the shampoo took so long to rinse out. However, the hotel location was wonderful right downtown, walking distance to everything. Be advised, though, that it is directly across the street from the main church whose bells sound... More

A very centrally located hotel giving easy access to the shops, post office, banks, cash machines and the town hall / town hall square. The rooms are comfortable and clean. Flat screen TV is wall mounted and for UK visitors this has CNN and BBC news available. Bathrooms are small but have all one would need including a supply of... More

We stayed here courtesy of Audi the night before we picked up our new car. The rooms are clean, decently sized, and we had a great view of the square. Breakfast is amazing: Germany spread with extras for the folks that don't want sliced meats in the morning. The best part of this hotel is the location. You can walk... More

We stayed one night in a tiny room at the Hotel Rappensberger. We chose this hotel due to the location in the old town. To start with the positive things: a) the location - you can walk to all the bars and restaurants in the old town and there are a lot of them. There are also a lot of... More

Hotel Rappensberger is a nice centrally located hotel in Ingolstadt with friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is within a 2 min walk of the shops, bars and restaurants. Single rooms are small and upgrading to a business room makes not much difference and the small pillow makes sleeping uncomfortable so if this is a problem take your own. I... More

We spent one night at this hotel courtesy of Audi, prior to picking up our new car. The hotel has a great location in the old town, and within walking distance to restaurants and the Danube River (called Donau in Germany). Most people in the hotel, and in the city, were business travelers.

Stayed two nights in a room facing the courtyard. This is a business hotel and is centrally located. However, there is not a quiet room in the hotel. This according to the front desk. It was explained to me that it is a "Intercity Hotel" that is what you get. The courtyard rooms could be quiet, however, they use that... More

I stayed in the Suite at the Hotel Rappensberger as it was the only room available on the date I stayed. The suite was enormous, albeit a bit dated. It also (annoyingly) came with two single beds pushed together (that seems common across Europe) as opposed to a proper king-sized bed - slightly unacceptable in a suite. Also, the internet... More

For most of my business associates doing business in the Ingolstadt / Manching / Neuremburg area, this is the hotel of choice. The hotel location is excellent, right in the center of Ingolstadt. The hotel is just medium size by European standards. It's a family run hotel and this shows.....the staff is so friendly and caring. Keeping in mind this... More

If you go to Ingolstadt (and you should) this is the hotel to consider, whether there for business or pleasure. Housed in a converted brewery the Rappensberger is a real home from home. Whilst preserving the character of times gone by with a selection of antiques throughout the passages, the rooms are contemporary , very well appointed and of a... More
