My husband and I just spend 1 week there in Aug.2014. We were placed in room 118. A smallish sized room for 2. It did have a nice sized closet, a tv, mini bar fridge. a double bed, 2 end tables, large desk and desk chair. It does come with a hair dryer in the bathroom. The bathroom is fair... More

I'm from Dueren. I grew up here, I know this town. Trust me, if you need a room in Dueren Düren's Posthotel is your best option. The staff goes our of their way to meet your every need, and you can't beat the location. We stayed at a $450/night hotel in Paris the week before Dueren, and the breakfast at... More

Nothing at all outstanding about this hotel, but nothing wrong with it either. It is basic but clean, which for a short business stay is all you can ask for - except for faster internet, which does get slower the further into the evening you go - more users I guess. Fibre broadband definitely needed. Break typically German and of... More

After reading some bad reviews I was a bit concerned, however I found my stay pleasant enough, yes it's a bit dated but not in a bad way. Hotel bar is cosy and charming, also a bowling alley in the hotel as well. We ate in the restaurent and the food was very good. No complaints.

English: I stayed here for about two weeks for work. The room was small and the bed wasn't super comfortable but the place was tidy and clean. It's about as central as you can get in Dueren which isn't a huge city by any means. I was happy there was a Doener stand nearby as well as a grocery store... More

THis Hotel gives you a place to sleep. The rooms are a bit run down, but clean. The staff is generally helpful and friendly but nothing extraordinary. The breakfast is good and anyone will find something not be starving. This Hotel is located well, close to the Dueren railway station and within less than half an hour you are in... More

I don't normally write reviews based on one-night stays: it feels inherently a bit unfair unless it's a business hotel. Maybe this is one - it's not kitted out in the usual modern box style - but there were plenty of rep types hanging round reception in the morning, though why they would stay at the Duren Posthotel beats me.... It is a good hotel, in the city centre. I got a very large room very well furnished. The bathroom was brand new, and very large. Breakfast was ok. I did not try the restaurant, but it looked nice. Overall, a confortable accommodation for my short business trip.
