Visited on a business trip. Comfortable room, spacious and well layed out. Bar served Alpirsbach beer, one of my favourites from the Black Forest. The food at the resteraunt was excellent with german specialities well to the fore. Buffet breakfast was also excellent. As for the staff, Nothing was too much trouble. An enjoyable stay

€129 for two of us and our dog and breakfast. Great view of town...but a heck of a bikeride up! Quiet...clean...comfortable. Personnel are super friendly. Wifi is fast and free. They have a gym, sauna, steambath, bar, restaurant and room service. Rooms are a bit small and no bathtub. All in all...gteat place to stay if you can afford it.

Nestled in the heart of Bruschal, the views of the country side are breathtaking, lush greenery and adjacent historic homes and buildings made this a pleasant stay. The staff at this hotel is outstanding, engaged and attentive to the traveller's needs. Rooms were small, well appointed, clean and modern. No air conditioning, but temperatures were reasonable, some humidity with the... More

I have stayed at the Schefelhoehe frequently over the past 2 years as my company has opened an office in Bruchsal ... some of the stays were extensive. I consider every experience to date positive - this is truly an exceptional hotel with an outstanding staff.

Nice location for an older hotel in a picturesque Germany town. Walking distance from the center and the castle. However, if you need to use internet you should reconsider: All rooms during my stay were unable to access wifi. No air conditioning. Cost is rather expensive for the room too.

Breakfast was wonderful not much on the hot side but still great selection of breads, fruit, meat, cheese and cereal. Great veiw of the city below from the better rooms and terrace. We were completely satisfied with this hotel, which we chose for spending 1 night on the way south from Benelux to Austria (perfect half-way stop). We experienced: - Very friendly welcome and service - Complete, total silence in the (street facing) room during the night; very quiet lovely town. - 10 minute from the main highways south with absolutely no... There was always a helpful English speaker at the reception.Breakfasts were great and we often dined at the restaurant....makes the best Vienna Schnitzel. The bar was open for a drink to end a full day of music and sight -seeing.Has gorgeous views... More

We stayed in this hotel for five nights. The rooms were modern and clean, and my room had a spectacular view of the city. No hint of cigarette smoke here! Service was excellent and responsive, and the breakfast is perfect. Be sure to eat at the wonderful restaurant on site.
