We stay there last September, for 3 nights. Very good service and more important the willing and interest of the owners to do what's needed to provide a pleasant stay. We took Bingen as a base, for travel around St. Goar, Bacharach, etc. We strongly recommend the Hotel Roemerhof. Leonardo

Engaging hosts made this a very pleasant stay. Just a ten-minute walk (uphill) from the train station, the hotel overlooks the lovely town of Bingen. An outdoor terrace provides the perfect spot to enjoy a glass of wine and the view. We were treated to a fireworks display as well. A perfect spot to stay for a day cruise on... More

We had a two night stay here. It was a great home base to take the train or boat to Bacharach or St. Goar. Our plan was to take the river cruise up to St. Goar, but a rainy morning made us change our plans to taking the train up to St. Goar and then the river cruise back down.... More

We stayed for two nights at this lovely, quaint hotel. The proprietors, Renata and Karl-Heinz were great hosts, and they spoke English. The room was neat and clean. Delicious breakfasts with everything you would ever want. Karl made yummy scrambled eggs with chives for us. The hotel is a short walk from the train station and downtown, close to the... More

We had a one night stay here in early October 2014. The desk clerk was friendly and helpful and had good but not great English. Enough to get the job done. Since we don't speak German, we can't complain. We loved the room. It was good sized, clean, and with eclectic decor. We love to find places like this because... More

I loved this place for a number of reasons, including the very affordable cost, the great location, the nice room, the delicious breakfast, and pleasant staff. I took several day trips to neighboring cities visiting their Christmas markets and Bingen has excellent rail connections to many cities, large and small, that don't require a change of trains. As others have... More

We loved everything about the Hotel Romerhof. It was a short walk from the train station. The young manager, Michael, was charming, friendly and spoke excellent English. The rooms were nicely furnished, clean and quiet. Breakfast, in the elegant dining room, was first-rate. It was an easy walk across the Nahe to the Rhine cruise terminal the next morning. Michael... We stayed here two nights, September 11 and 12, 2013. Cost was $218.15USD for both nights and included parking and breakfasts. Breakfast was excellent. This was a very nice hotel although without a lift. The room was spacious and well appointed. The two young people behind the desk are brother and sister, and they speak excellent English. We really liked... More

My wife and I just stayed at this nice hotel and after a difficult start to our vacation with lost luggage (British Airways), the hotel's manager, Michael, made us feel very welcome...even allowing the airline to contact him after hours if our luggage was found. Our entire experience there was excellent...room was spotless, quiet, and very comfortable. The breakfast was... More

We asked for a quiet room as the hotel is on the road (though not a particularly busy one) and were given 210 at the back which was very quiet and very large, almost a suite as the bathroom was a separate room off a private corridor which is great if your partner takes longer than you to get ready...
