I stayed here last year in August. I was very pleased with everything about the hotel and it's resturant. It is out of the way so a taxi is needed at night but during the day I suggest renting one of their bikes. I enjoyed packing a light bag and biking around....stopping for a glass of wine or a swim!... More

Stayed here for a few days when I was in the area for a wedding. My room was in the main reception side of the hotel with stunning views over the lake. Room was clean and service was good. Okay it's a bit off the beaten track - but the setting is great. If travelling into Munich - take the... More

I liked everything from the quiet area, nice rooms, great food, beautiful beer garden next to the lake and great service from everyone. Stefan, one of the desk clerks, has always done what he could to make our stays enjoyable. More

We stayed at this hotel for one night in the latter half of May 2010. We chose this hotel at the last minute as it was located on a lake and it was fairly close to Munich (we had to take a train leaving Munich in the morning). The room (100 Euros) was large with a private bathroom and a... More

We arrived in Munich early in the morning, and wanted to stay someplace close and interesting. This hotel fit the bill perfectly. Delicious dinner in the restaurant, comfortable room, and beautiful location. Highly recommend. More

Rooms were large and clean; no clock in room. Had to ask for more soap and then only received one tiny bar. Day staff at reception desk was helpful; night staff not so great. Restaurant was great with a gorgeous view of the lake. More

Great stay! Great service, friendly staff. Hotel has a huge own parkinglot and a private beacharea (only for guests. Rooms are very spacious with a balcony. The hotel has 2 parts: the recent building (with forrestview, or with a view at the parkinglot), the old hotel across the parking has lakeview, and breakfastroom is there with a lakeview as well,... I spend several days in this hotel. The purpose of the trip was business training. Overall i think the hotel is very overrated for the sum we paid. First check-in is at 15.00 earliest. My room was in the same bulding the resuaratant is situated. It was spacious, actually whole appartment but that is one of the few positive points.... More

Excellent hotel, excellent location. Far enough from the city noise, a perfect place to relax. Breakfast was very good, the restaurant was magnificent and the hotel's biergarten next to the lake front was idyllic. The rooms were extra large!!. Staff was very helpful and friendly. More

I had the opportunity to stay at this hotel for about 10 nights and enjoyed every of it. The room overlooking the lake was great and with lots of space including a balcony. The staff at the front desk are all so friebdly and knew my name of only hour after my arrival. The free wireless internet was also working... More
