We stayed there for 3 nights (special arrangement "Jagdhof Trilogie") in a very comfortable suite with free wifi, 2 television sets, fruits, minibar with free wine, beer etc. Staff was very friendly and the restaurants are fabulous- one with a michelin-star! The breakfast buffet is unbelievable with different sausages, cheese, fishes, shrimps, champagne, wodka, ...everything in excellent quality. Try the... More

Rooms are fabulous - very comfortable and great modern bathrooms with pretty much everything you could need - even a free mini bar. Internet was poor though. Hotel actually feels older than it is, the bulk of the building was post WW2 though feels older. The main entrance sitting area has massive open fireplace with loads of trophies hanging on... More

We stayed for 2 nights in June to break up our journey to Italy. We wish we could have stayed longer. This is a very comfortable and atmospheric hotel - doing what the Germans do best! Very helpful staff, comfortable and well proportioned rooms, with all the little extras you could want including a well stocked minibar, and wonderful walk... More

Only the Germans know how to do christmas. With the hotel lit up like a christmas tree it looked welcoming and inviting. A champagne reception in front of an enormous open hearth fire place helps you feel special on arrival. Bags dispatched to your rooms by girls wearing traditional dress is obviously all part of the service. Rooms full of... More

We took our two kids and two dogs to this hotel. It was wonderful, we felt right at home. Perhaps the decoration is a bit over the top. We liked the hunting theme though! But the other statues and angels were a bit too much. Sleeping? Wow, the beds were just too good. I slept like a baby. In the... More

I spent two nights at this amazing hotel. The staff exceptionally friendly and helpful , amazing breakfast with tastes for everyone, with different themes daily. A free well stocked minibar. Free use of electric bikes or mountain bikes. Lovely countryside to walk or cycle around. Free afternoon drinks savoury home made snacks and cake. A boss who obviously cares of... More

My husband and I stayed here for an overnight. Upon arrival we were offered a glass of sparkling wine as well a choice of snacks and cakes. The style of the hotel is very traditional, but it's very comfortable and the staff are fantastic. Service is obviously very important to the hotel and the staff genuinely appear to be enjoying... We just spent four nights in der Jagdhof and enjoyed every minute of it. The attentive staff made us feel very welcome. The beautiful setting, great restaurant, well furnished room, great beds, but most importantly the staff all contributed to a wonderful experience. We will be sure to be back in winter because we have to see this place in... More

The hotel and setting are country elegance at it's best. In the past, the restaurant has been excellent. This particular weekend, they featured an outdoor BBQ evening which was nice, but the food was a bit disappointing. We both had disturbances from MSG, which should never be used in such a fine kitchen. Also, our small suite was beautiful, but... More

We had a very relaxing stay in this hotel, in which we were really taken care of by all possible means. We have never seen so many little details that made our three days different from every-day business. We were faced to the biggest choice at breakfast ever seen in a hotel, an incredible effort indeed to set all this... More
