We stayed here for a whole lot cheaper than staying in Baden-Baden. The rooms are very basic(example: no TV). We couldn't get WiFi in our room but had to go down to the lobby to get connection. Excellent breakfast, the nuns make a lot of jams to try. As long as you know what your getting into, it's a good... More

This is a unique and nice place to stay. We enjoyed a lot the atmosphere, the silence and the good service we got. It's close to the high way. The breakfast and lunch are cheap. The toilet facilities and bathrooms are shared with other guests, but it's all so clean, that it's no problem. We could hear choir and organ... More

This is probably the best value and most relaxing accommodation you can get in the area. We stayed there twice and were more than satisfied each time. It's a beautiful monastery close to Bühl's town center but completely quiet. The nuns maintain a large orchard and flower gardens there and the whole estate is fenced in so it's about as... More

Two blocks to downtown and small shops. Quiet neighborhood with small but adequate, very clean rooms with private toilet/sink/shower. No TV or telephone in room, but WiFi available for a fee. Beds very comfortable. No frills, but all the necessary travel supplies. Full variety breakfast of breads, cereals, meats, cheeses, eggs, yogurt etc. While walking the grounds I enjoyed hearing... Beautiful, peaceful, clean. The nun checking us in didn't speak any English but we managed. We had a room with a bathroom and it was very, very clean and comfortable. The grounds are lovely. The breakfast adequate. There was also a morning service in the chapel that can be attended. If I was traveling in that area again, I would... More

The place is not exactly a hotel but a unique accommodation managed by volunteers. It has very calm and serene location just outside baden baden. The rooms are nicely sized and reasonably comfortable. Though mattress in our room needed replacement. There was also a good breakfast on offer. The only challenge we had was that bathrooms and toilets were not... More

The Kloster Maria Hilf is unique accommodation, it's very quite, reasonably appointed accommodation in well kept surrounding gardens. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. Breakfast is typical German, with salamis, ham, cheeses, fried bacon/omlettes/boiled eggs. Lots of self made jams and marmalades/honey, coffee and a great variety of teas. Internet is 5 euro per day, unfortunately the service... More

I stayed there from 19th to 22nd October 2013. The place is very quite, neat, with lovely views on surrounding landscapes. I had the cheapest room which they called a "single room with shared bathroom". The room was about 25 sq.m, with no wardrobe (the only disadvantage) but several hangers. The toilet/wash basin was just 2 meters away, absolutely clean.... More

we were staying in that hotel just for one night during our honeymoon, the place is amazingly clean, the bathroom is sterile, bed and pillows comfortable , and whole room are making you feel welcome. The breakfast was great, especially the jams and confitures made by nouns in this monastery, I have fall for cherry one and redcurrant - which... More

My friends and I stayed twice at the Kloster Maria Hilf during July 2013. On both ocassions we were in single rooms with on suite facilities. These rooms were clean, functional and exactly met our needs. We ate breakfast on both stays, and had the evening meal on one visit. These were also very good. It should be noted that the... More
