The public areas of this hotel are lovely. Checkin was easy and pleasant, although, most unusually, we did need to check for ourselves that the room was ready. Breakfast was very good, the breakfast staff were pleasant and efficient. Our room was large and clean, although the 'beach' touches in the bathroom were odd in rural Germany. However, the bed... If you are on business or visiting the area use this Hotel. The rooms are basic but you can get around this, the food at breakfast, dinner or the weekly BBQ is excellent. The staff are very helpful, speak good English and it seems very popular with tourists from all countries.

This is a lovely hotel which could be even better. The whole ambiance is lovely and once we changed from a small room to a larger one we were very happy. What lets them down is the welcome. There is none. A gentleman sits behind a desk looking at his computer and checks you in like a robot. Have never... More

I stayed here for one night in a single room that turned out (though decorated beautifully and fitted with all conveniences one would expect for an excellent hotel) to be the hottest, stuffiest room I've ever slept in -- tiny window, tiny fan, no AC means that even when it cools off at night, this room benefits from none of... The staff is attentive, unobtrusive and professional in the hotel and the restaurant. We had room # 58 without aircondition and fitted with a thick duvet it was difficult to get some sleep on a warm night. There is no business center or public internet connection. The lobby and the courtyard are very inviting. Breakfast is good with a wide... More

We stayed here my wife and I for three nights. We had a large comfort room overlooking the restaurant which is across the court yard. We found the room clean and breakfast imp articular excellent with a variety of choices. We had dinner one evening in the restaurant at the hotel and the service was very good. Prices competitive for... More

We really enjoyed our stay here. It was advertised as a garni hotel but it seemed to offer a lot more. The breakfast was very good. There is a restaurant attached - the Weinstube. Probably the best restaurant in town & not very well advertised or signed. You have to know it's there. Well worth a visit. Very nice food-... More

Stayed at the Bruehl for a short stay mainly to visit the Christmas market. The hotel is located a nice 15min walk from the town center. Our room was great, simple but efficient. The breakfast was good and plenty. The fire place in the lobby lounge is a great bonus and we enjoyed a few ours their to warm up... More

The hotel lobby and courtyard are beautiful. They provide an extensive breakfast spread. The rooms are small and there is no AC, which was a little rough on a couple warm evenings in June. I have really bad allergies so leaving the window open was hard for me but I had no choice since it was too warm in my... More

Visiting Quedlinburg and staying at the Romantik Hotel Am Bruhl was the highlight or our recent trip through The Netherlands-Germany-Czech Republic. The hotel is perfectly located for touring Quedlinburg by foot, and the front desk staff is very friendly and accommodating to English-speaking guests. Michael in particular made our stay a very warm and pleasant one. We had an apartment... More
