The hotel is right that you paid for. If you are looking for a relatively cheap place and with good location, clean, comfortable, with good internet, and wide bed – you got it. No gluts, but if you need just a place for overnight stay that is you choice. Perfect location if you travel by car or train.

Great hotel with very friendly and service oriented personal. Breakfast offers everything you'd like including your own chef to cook an omelet or make your scrambled eggs just like you want them. We always ask for a room with a terrace and facing the railwaystation/marketplace as the view is great and you can really take in the atmosphere, noise is... More

This is a good hotel in a great location next to the railway station and centre of town, perfect for us as we were visiting the famous Goslar Christmas Market. What we didn't like was that, having booked through Booking.com, our room details showed photographs which did not match up to the reality. Also, the other couple in our party... More

You could spend days wandering around the old town.Buy a walking map and head out into the Harz mountains. We walked from the Romkerhaller waterfall stopping at a lovely mountain hut for lunch. Another day we caught the train to Bad Harzburg. The old town starts just behind the hotel. There was a lovely Hotel brewing gose beer and serving lovely... More

I stayed here for a one night stop and would return. Check in was simple and directions were given to get our car to the car park via Goslar's complicated one-way system and road works! The hotel could be accessed via a ramp from the car park to avoid the ten or so stairs at the front of the hotel.... More

Spent two nights here in mid July as part of Euro road trip. A lovely hotel in the old style and convenient for the train station and Goslar itself. Had secure parking at the back which was important to us as travelling by car. Staff friendly and helpful. Excellent choice at breakfast both days, including a lovely lady who was... More

Spent three nights is this lovely old hotel in mid July. Our king size room was very tight but not unusual for Europe. The bathroom on the other hand was spacious. Very clean and right across the street from the Bahnhof which was great for us since we decided to travel by rail rather than car. Conveniently located to town... More

After being caught on the road for +8 hours with 3 kids on the backseat in heavy rain, we reached Goslar at 2 am and no reservation or places to go. We tried another hotel first but they had no room. By chance we ended up at Niedersachsischer Hof and the extremely helpful and nice Night Portier - Christina (I... More

Goslar is a very beautiful town. The hotel is convenient to the train station and is nonetheless very quiet. The dining room has vegetarian options and the staff were willing to make a meal although I arrived just as the kitchen was closing.

Stayed here for one night, prior to a business meeting in the area. On arrival, you can park in front of the hotel and get a access key to the parking area behind the hotel. Parking fee was 7 euro per day. The staff was very friendly and the room was clean. Perhaps a bit basic in layout, but fit... More
