The main problem with this hotel, was that it doesn`t feel like 4 stars. You expect something special from it, that`s why you pay extra money. Although it is not very expensive, could be better. However, the location is great. 5mins to Zeppelin museum, 15mins to railstation, and just 30 seconds to beautiful promenade - all on foot. The restaurant... More

Did not strike me as a four-star luxury hotel at all. The room was fine, as was breakfast. However our room was off in an annexe - which is the kind of thing they usually tell you before you arrive. We were checked into a room which was already occupied, before being moved. The housekeeping seemed a bit haphazard. Not... More

Fresh and modern room in one of the added buildings to the hotel. Breakfast is served in the lovely hotel restaurant that also offer Michelin quality lunch and dinner. Make sure to get a table one evening in the restaurant. Theirs local fish plate is amazing and their soups are sent from soup heaven.

I wasn't expecting a lot from a Chain hotel in Europe but was pleasantly surprised. The reception and restaurant are in a separate building - I was slightly concerned when the gentleman on reception led us across the street and into a small corridor. I then managed to set the alarm off in the tiny lift with my bag but... More

The beautiful city of Friedrichshafen on the northern shoreline of lake Bodensee has many attractions. The city of Friedrichshafen with only 58.000 inhabitans can boast of a most pleasant and soft rebuilding after utter destruction during ww2. The streets of Friedrichshafen follow the century old patterns and the low skyline make you feel, that although built in a modern and... More

All is good other than rooms sizes, these sizes are belong to pension rooms not a 4 start hotel room. No lobby that you can meet or have a coffee. it is comparably good though considering other hotels in the town.

What a shame that an ideally located hotel cannot provide the usual 'Best Western' service that this chain of hotels is renown for. No lifts are available in the hotel, and no assistance provided to climb the three flights of stairs with luggage. Only lights working in the room were in the bathroom and foyer. Obtained a lamp from the... More

I was sent to stay here while on business so I couldn't comment on the price, but I certainly loved the location and enjoyed Friedrichshafen very much. The hotel was pretty basic, I had an absolutely enormous room that didn't have much furniture in it, so I found that quite odd and a bit like sleeping in an open-plan office... More

Best Western at Friedrichshafen. There are so many negatives to this hotel it would be too time consuming to list them all, however lack of a working internet on a business trip is most frustrating. 3 attempts to remedy this by the staff resulted in no change and NO INTERNET. Although the staff was pleasant, their failure to grasp the... More

The best part of this hotel is the staff. Very efficient and helpful. The hotel is typical of the older european model. No AC (or fan so no airflow ever), room coffee, iron boards, hand towels and no WiFi or internet access at all. The bed was OK and the shower was nice but there were no soap holders or... More
