We stayed over at this hotel for a single night. The room is very nice and the TV is quite big compared to all the other hotels we stayed in, again as per usual there is only German channels available on the tv. The wifi only worked for about 30minutes and there after we never had connecton again and ended... More

We only stayed in Friedrichshafen for one night, mainly to visit the excellent Zeppelin Museum so we choose this hotel as it is in walking distance to the promenade/shops/ferries/Museum and it offered free parking. We didn't expect anything fancy and Gasthof Rebstock clearly does what it says on the tin. It's a basic 3* hotel with in a good location.... More

As for gasthof's go in Germanty, this is just a mundane non descript place. It was clean, however. Breakfast didn't have much special; 4 minute eggs that ran out as soon as it was put in basket, couple of cereal or muslix, packaged yogurt, cold cuts and cheese. Beer dispenser was unique, off the middle class neighborhood. When we checked,... More

We stayed at this hotel together with our one year old. The food here was excellent, best of all 3 star gasthofs we have been on our holiday. Most staff were friendly, except the lady that prepared breakfast, she wasn't very helpful. We had a room at the top floor. unlucky us, as it appeared to be a very hot... More

The hotel staff were friendly. The rooms were reasonably sized, but the ensuites were tiny. In one of our two rooms, the ensuite door was a sliding door which would slide open at will. Internet access worked fine. No air conditioning was a problem on a hot night as the road noise was loud with the windows open. Breakfast was... More

Rate it as 4-start i.s.o. 3 purely for value of money. The room was big enough, the bed ok but the pillow was too insubstantial. Cleanliness ok. Planes come directly overhead, the regional types, landing at nearby airport (but they don't fly at night). Quite a haul to go up 4 flights of stairs with the luggage. Nice atmosphere and... More

This is exactly what it says, a guest house, and no worse because of it. The room was large with a small en suite in the corner and the bed was comfortable. Cleanliness could be better as there was someone else's hair on the floor though the bed linen was very clean. It is situated on a main road and... More

Good location, 15 min by walk from the lake. The triple room was clean and spacious. No elevator: to access a room, we had to go through dark and dirty corridors. The towels in the bathrooms were awful: old and threadbare! The breakfast was poor. Free small parking: difficult to find the place.

We needed a place for 2 nights on our way to Austria. the guesthouse is old and could use some remodeling, but the creaky wood floors and the antiques were quaint. There was a NEW bathroom in our room... YAY!!!! We booked on another site but then e-mailed a request for an additional bed. Had an e-mail in a few... More

My wife and I enjoyed this hotel very much. The owners and staff were very friendly and worked very hard. There were a lot of guests staying at the same time and a number of these were on cycling vacations. The room we had overlooked the main street and was slightly more noisier than the others perhaps. However, we stayed... More
