Nice hotel, especially the renovated rooms were clean, nicely decorated and provided the basics one would expect in a room. The restaurant's terrace is located beautifully at the lake and outside seating is very nice. However, the menu is quite dull and old fashioned and the food quality average. The location is convenient when it comes to visiting the old... More

Spacious rooms, a remarkable breakfast spread, and a truly lovely terrace for taking coffee, eating lunch, or whiling away the afternoon. Food on the terrace restaurant was simple and tasty. The location is superb--close to the train, busses, and main tourist attractions.

Location is perfect. A short walk from the old town for sights and restaurants. A short walk from the train station, ferries and the city waterfront park. On the bike path (and they can rent you bikes at the hotel). But also on the water itself (actually a little island) and they have a nice lake bathing area and endless... More

Old converted monastery on the Lake. The hotel was a monastery at one time and that gives this hotel a very unique appearance. I found the hotel to be clean and lovely. Our room was big and we had a walk in closet... Too bad we packed so light. We don't speak German and this hotel seems to cater more... More

We had a double and single room, both with water view. The rooms were modern and clean. The hotel, a previous monastery, boasts an interesting history. Their busy staff were efficient. As we were celebrating a round birthday, we were looking forward to dine at their lakeside restaurant. Food and service were not a pleasant experience.

This place is worth to go again. The mix between history and luxury rooms and even more beautiful views over the lake of Constance with a glimpse to the harbor of Constance with the well-known Imperia, a 9 m-tall sculpture rotating around its axis once every four minutes. The old-town is just "around" the corner as well as the marina.

My friend was getting married at Lake Constance so I stayed here for the wedding weekend. It is a great hotel with comfortable rooms and splendid views. The outdoor dining area is a terrace that overlooks the lake and the views are just out of this world. The breakfast has great variety. You are spoiled for choices! There is also... More

6 of us spent a week at this hotel and it was fantastic in every way. For a start, it is located right on the lake, giving fabulous views whilst eating eating Breakfast or Dinner outside. The food is very good, with an excellent choice of everything you need for breakfast - a great variety of cereals, fresh fruit, cold... More

My wife and I stayed in this hotel for two nights in July 2015. We found the rooms spacious, well equipped, nicely decorated and welcoming - and they had air-conditioning. The hotel is situated in a converted Nunnery right by the side of Lake Constance with its own car park. The staff are friendly, efficient and very helpful. I suffer... More

Very historical hotel with all necessary equipment no services. We have really enjoyed it. The only thing is the food price in the restaurant - it is way over the average rate. For the price of a sandwich and a beer at the hotel bar you can easily have a complete dinner outside the hotel. However I must say that... More
