Just returned from Traben Trarbach. Hotel lies in main street. Had a large room in 'tower' with views of the surrounding mountains/vineyards. I took my partner to the Trabener Hof for her birthday on New Year's Eve as a surprise. The service was superb from the start. Very, very helpful organising our stay over the phone and e-mails confirming everything. A taxi was arranged to collect us from Frankfurt Hahn airport, (for 36.00 euro return) and delivered us straight to the door.... more

Although there was a mixup in our reservations they made every effort to make our stay the best possible. We we're offered 3 double rooms, for the price of 2. 2 were located next to each other, which was great with 2 small children. The service was excellent and the rooms were beyond our expectation. more

A clean, simple hotel that was a perfect location for our stay in this lovely little town. Staff were friendly, helpful and made us feel like we were very welcome. We just came back from a trip to Germany and the Mosel River Valley. Our hostess Adriane was very helpful and knew the area very well. The rooms were nice and the breakfast was great. Her staff is very accommodating and spoke English pretty well. I would definately go back....April 2005 more
