The Moseltor is located on the Trarbach side of the Mosel which is a bit quieter and less congested than the Traban side. With two other cyclists - all in our 60s - I spent three nights at The Moseltor as part of an Activity Breaks package. The hotel arranged for bike rental from a nearby shop and the bikes were of superb quality with 18 gears. This is the second time we have stayed at the Moseltor. We returned this year, as a group of nine, for the Traben Wine Festival. At the end of 2010 we are finished with the renovation of all bathrooms in our small hotel. The picture you can see in this comment is already from the past. The bathroom looks totaly different. For a look go to our new website.
We stayed at the hotel Moseltor in the small town of Traben-Trarbach on the Mosel in April 07 for one night. Double room and half board at 133 Euro.
