This was a quick, one night stay in order to be close to the Porsche Museum... and it was clean, efficient, and modern. We surmised that this was a business hotel judging from the clientele. The rooms were a good size for our purpose, and again, I believe catered to the business minded. A convenient location and free parking directly... More

During a heat wave in Germany, my husband were on a bike tour and ventured off the Neckar path in search of a place with a pool and air conditioning (rare in Europe, you may know!). While the price seemed a bit high, the stay here was worth it. The room was large, the bathroom well-stocked, the pool refreshing, the... More

Located in Asperg, need a car to go Ludwigsburg. Asperg itself has a couple of restaurants and a square. Standard hotel room but quite large, bathroom with window, dark if you want and above all a proper individual AC which is a news in Germany. Parking in front for free or garage at extra. Specifically asked for a no smoking... More

The hotel was recommended to us and we can now recommend it to others. We stayed two nights and cannot fault anything at all, from making an on-line reservation to check-out. Everything was done properly, but with a personal touch. All the staff we came in to contact with were friendly, helpful and charming. The location was ideal, being out... More

Stayed here with my husband. We needed to be near Stuttgart but didn't want to stay right in the city. This was perfect! The room was lovely, absolutely spotless. The staff very helpful, the receptionist spoke excellent English. Free parking direct across from the hotel. Pool and sauna area was great. We choose to eat in the Brasserie rather than... More

I picked this hotel because it was close to Stuttgart, but not actually in the city and traffic. The hotel lobby was clean and attractive, check-in was a breeze. We had a large room at the end of one of the corridors. It was clean and bright with nice appointments. There was free parking just across from the hotel. I... More

Arrived Sunday morning from a transatlantic flight. Had to wait about ten minutes for our room. Hotel was spotless; staff was helpful and the buffet breakfast was good (for 15 euros per person). Swimming pool and sauna area was great. Room was very nice size.

I stayed here for 8 nights whilst doing a short work attachment nearby. I arrived at the train station with luggage but there was no taxis there. Rang the hotel and they arranged one for me. The receptionist spoke English very well ( i don't speak any German). The room was excellent - there was a shower, also an air-con... More

This was quite a bad hotel compared to the other ones we stayed at in Germany and elsewhere. The worst part: the rooms are tiny and the housekeeper entered our room 3 times in the morning, first time while we were still slipping in bed, the other 2 times while we were dressing and preparing to leave. On top of... More

Stayed three nights while we visited Ludwigsburg and Stuttgart. Staff very helpful, modern large rooms in a family-run hotel, clean, a one star Michelin restaurant on the premises, as well as a less formal Swabian bistrot. Generous breakfast with a wide choice. A quick train trip into Stuttgart if the requisite green traffic pass is perceived to be a problem.... More
