This is our second time at this cottage and it was even better this time! It is a fantastic house for a family holiday. We took our teenage children and their friends and our dog. Plenty of room for everyone, the beach being virtually our own, walks over to Constantine and Booby's for surfing. Just perfect. The owners delightful and... More

This is an 'old' cottage which oozes charm and probably has the best sea view you will get anywhere in Britain simply stunning. The owners are incredibly friendly. We had dinner with them when we stayed and had a relaxed and friendly conversation about the area and history of the place. The beach is to die for - truly its... More

Stayed for Christmas, best cottage we have ever stayed in, Views are out of this world, 2 mins walk to beach and coastal walks beautiful especially walking around to other beaches, not as good as Mother Iveys beach thou. And who ever wrote the bad comments must of been Victor Mildew . Quiet and safe and dogs loved it.

I cannot believe how wrong some of the reviews are! This cottage delivers on every level from SPECTACULAR sea views to your very own idyllic beach just a few steps from the door. The cottage itself was perfect for us, homely, comfortable and very spacious inside and out, with plenty of land for our dog to enjoy. The beautiful town... More

We booked Mother Ivey Cottage well in advance and I stumbled across the review on this website, and was a little concerned. However, it could not be more wrong, so please do not let it put you off! The cottage is in a beautiful location, right next to a lovely cove and very private. We went swimming every day in... More

My husband and I have just returned from a perfect bank holiday weekend away! We are totally relaxed, well fed and already planning our trip back! Mother Ivey Cottage is just wonderful. The location is unrivaled (literally the sea is right there!!!) and the hosts are such lovely, helpful people! We woke up every morning to a full English breakfast,... More

To say we were disappointed with this property would be an understatement. Alarm bells started to ring when we saw the tumble down garages to the rear of the cottage where broken windows and other general junk was stored. There were also 6 inch nails sticking up from pieces of wood in this area where children could easily injure themselves. The front...
