We stayed here as a budget friendly option to see Zermatt. Our room was clean and comfortable, nice bed and bathroom. Good tasty breakfast included in our package. The hotel manager was super friendly and always willing to help. A couple of useful tips: - power sockets are Swiss rather than standard European, but the manager provided an adaptor when... More

What a great find, this hotel is spotlessly clean, our room was large with a full kitchen including a dishwasher, really comfortable clean beds. I think the comment saying a "Filthy homeless shelter" is certainly for a different property as it could not possibly be this hotel. Great location Its next to the train station so a bit of train... Randa is about as close to Zermatt as you can get to by car with the exception of Täsch. I chose Randa because of the value I envisioned in Alpenblick. My vision was mostly confirmed. The property sits right next to the train station to make it easy to go into Zermatt. There is also a tourist information office where... More

We'd been hiking for a days on the Haute Route and this was our last stop before terminating our trip in Zermatt. This nice place is right next to the railroad and was near other places to eat (although we ate there at hotel's small restaurant). This is pretty much the end of the tourist/trekking season and I believe we... More

We use the Hotel Alpenblick for our clients who book on our trekking holidays in particular on the Haute Route. The feedback we have received from our clients this summer has been great... good facilities and friendly helpful service. Markus the hotel owner couldn't do enough for us.

My friend and I stayed here for two nights after finding most other hotels being beyond our budget. We were welcomed by Marco who was very friendly and helpful (and a keyboard player in Zermatt in the evenings). The room was clean, the bed extremely comfortable and there was no problem with noise from the railway line, despite being very... More

I recently traveled to Europe and made my way to the Swiss Alps. Our goal was to head to Zermatt to ski in October. Luckily, Zermatt is open year round and the very top has snow and glacier skiing. Zermatt is a very well known ski village but it's also very expensive. Looking for a good value in the area,... More
