unbeatable location 10 minutes drive from Porto Santo Stefano. sea view is amazing which in our view makes it 5 star hotel. Staff is nice. But the rest makes the hotel an average 3 star: rooms are poorly decorated so is the gastronomic restaurant. food is average but very expensive. a lot of things are too complicated (wifi, beach access... This lovely resort overlooking the sea is tastefully designed and well maintained. Many, if not all, of the rooms have balconies with spectacular views. In the nearby town of San Stefano you can take a boat or ferry to the island of Giglio which is a great day trip. Food was good, but not exceptional. I really enjoyed it and... More

Room 9 has a view from 2 sides. You see the island of guilio. The staff are very friendly and speak English well. Just arrived but no complaints. The road getting here has a couple crazy hairpin turns.perfect for a quiet spot to relax. The massage was great.

As the Il Pellicano hotel was fully booked, we booked in this hotel. A positive thing was the location, as you have a wonderful view over the sea. The room itself was just okay. Nothing fancy at all and it was always quite a walk to get up to the reception level by foot. Not ideal for older persons, as... More

We stayed here for one night on our way up the coast but wished we could have stayed for a week. Even with a GPS we had a few missteps finding the place, but it was definitely worth it when we finally arrived and learned we had been upgraded to a suite with a huge sea view terrace. After checking... More

My wife and I visited Italy for our dream vacation to celebrate my 60th birthday in October. And by staying at the Hotel Torre di Cala Piccola they were achieved ! This place... More

The Hotel Torre di Cala Piccola is located on a mountaintop overlooking the Tyrrhenian Sea and Giglio, the island that received worldwide notoriety when the Costa Concordia ran aground. Now the ship is up righted on the other side of the island out of view from the hotel. We arrived for our one night stay on a beautiful clear day... More

This is one of the most beautiful settings I have ever seen. Peacful, tranquil, and scenic. The staff was extremely attentive to our needs and accomadated us in everry way. I could not think of a better way to spend time after the busy schedule of sightseeing we had. It left us with beautiful memories and we were very impressed... More

Before we left on our trip to Italy, I carefully reviewed all comments about this hotel, and I must say in many ways they were quite accurate. It all depends on what you want. We stayed 7 days here during the last week in September; and, although I had to get used to the drive up this incredibly high mountain,... More

I recently stayed for 5 days at the Torre di Cala Piccola for my first time and what a wonderfully delicious place it is! Beautiful views, an oasis of tranquility, delicious food at a restaurant with an amazingly romantic panorama from which you could either enjoy a spectacular sunset drink or watch the twinkling stars and bay lights during a...
