The Ile Flottante is a charming bed and breakfast property on the Ile D'Orleans, an island about 25 minutes' drive from Quebec City. The new owners were charming and our rooms (which featured large bathtubs) were spotless. The property features an illuminated path down to the St Lawrence river and my wife and I enjoyed a glass of Quebec apple... More

Michele and Annie are the new owners....this was our first visit and it met all our expectations....lovely bedrooms with private baths, welcoming hosts, excellent breakfast, and a great view of the river....Next time we should stay in the cute cottage!! Located close to Quebec city and St Anne de Beaupre

This is a difficult review to write because I want to give a high rating to this B&B, but there were some serious drawbacks for me. If you choose your room carefully and don't mind the issues that come with staying in a historic property, you will probably have a great stay here. The property is charming inside and out... More

Due to the fact that we are situated in the heart of the St-Laurent village, everything is easy of reach. So, you have the principal road right in front of the auberge. That bring you everywhere you want. Before making a reservation, you have the possibility to check out different choices of room on internet. Some offers a separated bathroom... More

During our stay on Ile D'Orleans, we stayed at the most lovely Auberge L'Ile Flottante, a welcoming B&B in the Saint Laurent area of the island. The B&B is brightly painted and very easy to find on the main road that circles the island. We were welcomed by the very friendly host and hostess - they are warm, full of... More

We just shared four fabulous nights with Genevieve and Tony at Auberge Ile Flottante. We cannot say enough good things about this wonderful Bed and Breakfast. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed. The inn was spotlessly clean. Our breakfasts were bountiful and amazingly good. The historic building is charming and quaint. Tony and Genevieve were endlessly helpful. They... More

We were greeted with an attentive smile, given an orientation and allowed "space" to settle in. Having a general store close by gave us a chance to pick a reasonably priced beverage or two and then back to the spacious room for a nice hot bath and a beer! We were given a dining recommendation that "filled the bill". It... More

My husband and I stayed for 4 nights in July, 2014 during a heat wave. The inn was still comfortable and very quaint! The owners are accomodating and served us tea at night and the most amazing breakfasts in the morning. They are personable, can give suggestions of where to eat and what to see. The grounds of the b&b... More

Tony and Genevieve were fantastic hosts: friendly, fun, and full of energy. They made our stay the best and in three short days we felt like family. Ask Tony to make a special coffee for you. And Genevieve makes gourmet breakfasts (that's petit déjeuner en Français). Make sure you get to the bakery and the chocolate shop. And explore the... More

Hard to describe the beauty of this place!!! An old house restored with its charm, bedrooms kept in original state, you feel like in a different century, superbly clean and cosy. The hosts were so welcoming, the breakfast was better than in a 5 star restaurant!!!! Go and experience it for yourself, you won't be dissapointed!!!
