We thoroughly enjoyed the xtra effort to make us feel comfortable and special. Sue did go the extra mile to ensure that we knew were to go, what to do and also all the activities in the area. The dogs were very friendly as well as the owners whom also ensured that our unit was well looked after

We stayed at Tree House River Lodge during the Polocrosse World Cup in Shongweni and really enjoyed our time there. Sue and Alice were so welcoming, friendly and accommodating- they helped us out with anything. The chalet was lovely; comfortable and clean with a beautiful view of the river and valley. It felt like a home away from home and... More

We spent 4 nights at the lodge and enjoyed every minute of it. The rustic charm of the lodge is exactly the escape we needed from the chaos of JHB. we only had breakfasts while there but they were absolutely amazing. The staff are all so friendly and ready to answer any questions we had.

The enviroment is beautiful, quite and calm. A perfect spot to unwind, recouperate and relax - with birds waking u in the morning and a calming sound of the river flowing jst below your Cabin. The food and massages are to die for. We left feeling relaxed and great. It is th best place to be, away from the City noise.😍😍😍😍

We spent the weekend at the Treehouse river lodge, and came away so well rested - just what a parent of 2 needs! The accommodation is nestled in the trees, with an awesome view of the river and some fantastic bird life. Braai facilities are private, but do allow you to interact with your neighbours if you want. Sue and... More
