This place really made our Thailand trip our most memorable vacation - can't wait to return! The staff treats you like family & goes out of their way to help you in any way they can. The rooms are very homey, clean & comfy & very reasonably priced. Easy walk to the fairy that quickly takes you across river to... More

We had a very enjoyable stay with The Legend Maeklong. Very helpful staff. We arrived late and the staff walked us to the jetty down the road to take a ferry that takes us to the other side of the river (where the market is located) for some dinner. Hotel is very near to the Maeklong Train Market. The staff... More

This place is perfect if you are looking for a quiet, peaceful getaway close to Bangkok. It is a boutique style hotel, so do not expect anything fancy. The hotel is situated on the Mae Klong river. It is only 15-20mins drive from Don Hoi Lot, in case you stop there for a lunch break. The Amphawa floating market is... More

We really enjoyed our stay here! The staff was excellent. Very helpful. On the morning we were leaving even though the kitchen did not open until 7am, the staff was up with us at 5am to cook us a breakfast. So kind of them!!! The food is great, the rooms are very comfortable. The air cons work great. Just remember... More

This is a small, Thai-style, place with small, riverside, open-air restaurant. There are 8-10 rooms. Our room # 3 has a huge king-size bed which almost fills the room. The mattress is very hard. There is a refrigerator, TV, and a small, efficient, bathroom with shower (no tub). Excellent a/c. There are no chairs or stools, no shelves or drawers;... More

Location: right by the river, in a very quiet area. No shops around, you need to take the boat to go anywhere. Nice view of the river, very, very quiet. Room: literally traditional thai houses made of teak wood. Very nice rooms, but no amenities, old TV, little details that are way better is other hotels in the same price... More

We traveled in a group of four and we got different rooms. My Amphawa 2 is located in the traditional Thai house complex. We have a vast porch and a big wood swing. The room is a little small but good for 2 persons. The wooden floor made me feel nostalgia and I spent some time loitering. My friends, on... More

I was in this resort on May 2012. The location is nice, the buildings are very nice...but the room was not cleaned properly (dust in many places), the restaurant stops at 9 pm and after it the reception is also off. Morevoer, on booking.com they claim that you can have internet wifi in the whole resort, while it si not... More

We have visited visited in February this Mae Klong's first colonial house that has been converted into a boutique resort after being a bed and breakfast for several years. The house that was constructed during the reign of King Rama VI and crafted by Chinese craftsmen is combining Western and Thai architecture and is facing the river. Located 100 m... More
