I had stayed at this Kingsbarns bed and breakfast before so was thoroughly looking forward to my week long stay whilst in the area for The Open Golf Tournament. The location is just a pleasant 10 minute drive from St Andrews and a warm welcome awaits from Jim and Jayne Mitchell. My room was spacious with a very comfortable bed... More

Kingsbarn is a great location for travelling around fife. Kingsbarn itself is a tiny pretty village. This very clean and well kept b&b is all down to the hard work of Jim & jayne, the friendly owners of this home from home b&b. The breakfast was excellent fresh fruit, cereals, and choice of the traditional cooked Englis, all very well presented. This... More

Booked this 2 days in advance due to not making up my mind and was certainly a good choice. Easy to find Kingsbarns B&B as they are on the main road through town. Checked in about lunch time and the room was ready. Can be a bit noisy with the room right on the road but not a problem. Came... More

We rang very last minute and were lucky enough to find out that there were vacancies. My husband and I had our dog with us, who was just as welcome. Jayne was really helpful and the room very comfortable. The B&B is 10 mins walk from a great sandy beach, and on Sunday morning we were treated to a gorgeous... More

We stayed here after being unable to find a reasonably priced B&B in St Andrews, probably because we left the booking too late. Glad we did because it was a very comfortable room, light and airy with a good sized ensuite. Jim and Jayne were very welcoming and provided a good breakfast. Pity the pub next door has closed so... Lovely find - very nicely decorated, super clean, good breakfast including fresh fruit salad. Great place to stop if you're doing the Fife Coastal trail between Anstruther and St Andrews. Very friendly reception.

We stayed here for 2 nights during our Fife Coastal Path walk, as there were no rooms available at Crail when we were to have stayed there. Because of this, our hosts had to pick us up and drive us about a couple of times if we were to eat without adding several miles each way to our planned walks.... More

We stayed in the Kingsbarn B&B for just one night but would happily have stayed longer and hope to return again. The couple who ran it were so lovely and helpful and the price very reasonable for the area but the real bonus was the room. It was immaculate, really nicely decorated and so comfortable with an impressive ensuite bathroom.... More
