Staying at hotel de la poste on a Crystal holiday. Liked the look of the reviews and delighted to book a room with a balcony and bath. On arrival room had been double booked and we found ourselves in small back room with an extra bed and a great view of the apartments opposite. Importantly no bath and no balcony.... More

Just returned from a half term skiing trip with a group of 8 (3 families). Lovely friendly hotel and friendly staff. Rooms are very comfortable albeit they seem to vary in size. Eg. Room 1 was very spacious with a balcony accommodating 3 persons whereas room 18 was cramped but still advertised accommodation for 3). But the food is very... More

This hotel deserves more than two stars it has. We stayed here for one night, three couples, after cycling Col de la Madeleine & Col de Telegraphe. LOVED IT. Our room was a cracker, really spacious, very clean, a great big bathroom, newly appointed and perfect...all in all a perfect end to the day. It is right in the heart... More

Stayed here after cycling over the Izoard, Lauteret and Galibier, so it was nice to arrive with rooms ready and to get a hot shower and cold beer,.The room was well appointed and dinner and breakfast were excellent. The hotel is well located and for those of us who had come to the Alps with less than needed gear there... More

A nice budget /chalet style hotel with generous sized rooms given ski area with modern bathrooms and pleasant balcony. The staffs were helpful and efficient. We stayed overnight as part of cycling holiday of the Alps and found this hotel satisfied all our needs

Right in the centre of Valloire in a very handy location. Staff were very firendly. I had a balcony room which was nice and comfortable. I ate in the restaurant which was packed (it looked like the busiest place in town) and the food was really good. Breakfast was good and there was plenty to choose from. Wifi worked -... More

A recently refurbished and very pleasant family run hotel, 100m from the centre of the village and 300m to the lifts. All the rooms are recently refurbished with nice fittings and good bathrooms. Breakfasts are generous with a selection of breads, pastries, cold meats, cheeses, juices and cereals. Dinner is also served and is excellent value and extremely tasty. There... More

Very nice chalet style hotel.... Lots of wood in the room and south facing balcony from which to take the afternoon sun. Slept really well, and pleased to have modern bathroom. Breakfast was a bit hit and miss but fine, and we had a very comfortable stay. Valloire much livelier than the other places we visited in June 2012. Very... More

We spent 4 nights here during a trip following the Tour De France in 2010. We had stayed at a hotel across the street a few years before and dined here and decided if we ever came back to valloire , this would be the spot. For anyone interested in the Tour, Valloire is the village in the tiny valley... More

This is the most underestimated hotel I have ever stayed at. A hotel that claims to be a 2 star and yet could easily be rated the best 3 star in town is a rare find! I have just returned from a ski trip with 8 people (4 rooms) in our group. Everyone was really impressed with the hotel and... More
