Brilliant location with ski in and ski out. Instructors were good. Taught well. Best entertainment I've seen in a club med hotel. However sometimes the shows were long. Sometimes u just wanted them to end so you could dance. Food was good. Rooms were clean and did the job. Club med staff provided good service.

I've spent 1 week in the Club Med - Val Thorens, great value for the money. We had a very good week of ski, with a great food and a very nice time with the team of the hotel. Congratulations for Charles & he's great team Thibault, Daniela and others... the greatest staff that I ever meet,. Highly recommended.

We stayed for a week in February and had a great time. The rooms are very basic but what you expect from a ski hotel. The location is fantastic and Charles and his team were attentive and entertaining. Our ski guide Thomas (the fireman) was brilliant - a good instructor with teaching techniques that were very memorable and our skiing... More

This place is worn in and does not seem to be getting upgrade funds. They are building a new Club Med across the street, but that won't be open till early 2015. When open the new place will be for age 12 and up. There is no sauna/jacuzzi at this facility. Bar: Very good. They offered most mixed drinks that... More

We were at Club Med Val Thorens after the Chinese New Year (2/2/14), so we are the only group from Singapore and Malaysia. Skiing & snowboarding lessons From Monday to Friday 09:00-12:00 or 13:00 and again from 14:00-16:00 or 16:30 I had skiing beginner lessons with a professional teacher on the slopes. Excellent ski instructor Michael took care of all... More

The last time I have been to club med Val Thorens was 9 years ago. Well the food is still great and the atmosphere is nice but this is certainly not what you except from such a venture. Everybody knows that the rooms in club med are small and basic but there is no excuse for neglecting them. First we... More

The Good: I have to tip my hat to all the chefs at the restaurant. Everyday they came up with something creative for lunch and dinner, so over a period of a week it was tough to get bored. A lot of the time they didn't have access to ingredients such as decent meat etc, so this made their task... More

This was my first time staying at a Club Med resort, and up until now, I had only heard good things about the brand. My boyfriend and I were looking to go on a Winter holiday where we could snowboard somewhere with a cool atmosphere. The holiday package needed to be well-priced and cover all bases (include flights, accomm, snowboard... More

We have just returned from a week's stay at Club Med Val Thorens where we had booked as a group of 15 people. Location is excellent - ski in, ski out. Rooms were basic and tired but warm and comfortable. Food was plentiful but rather repetitive (eg. they would serve the same fish dishes every other day) and of an... More
