We have just returned from a weeks holiday at the Cheval Blanc Apartments in Val Thorens. Bear in mind first of all this is a 3 hour transfer from Geneva. Checking in was fine and were able to check in when we arrived at 2pm. Not knowing the set up we were given a room on the plus 2 floor.... more

I totally agree with big bear's comments. If you want luxury, this is not the place for you. But if you want a clean, comfortable, warm, affordable place to rest your head after a hard day on the slopes, this will definitely serve it's purpose. You certainly get your money's worth here. Couldnt have asked for a better location... literally 30 secs from ski school meeting place, however the accomadation was very basic.. an apartment with one bedroom... with the 3rd 4th people sleeping on a sofa bed with a rubbish matteress.. given both of us back ache!...
