2009 is the second year I've booked this hotel for a lads ski holiday.
The hotel is located toward the bottom of the town next to the retour and nursery slopes. The ski storage rooms all exit onto the retour which is perfect for accessing all of the lower lifts in VT. We were a group of 8 and found plent of space for ski's in the lockers provided.
The hotel is showing it's age and the decor is very dated, but it is all in good condition and the hotel generally is very clean. The balcony view from our room last year faced up towards the peclet glacier which was lit up in the evening.
The hotel restaurant is good and is priced similarly to others in the resort. The shamrock is an 'irish' bar under the hotel that is very friendly and the perfect place to start the evenings apre.
If we return to VT next year (very likely) then i'll book this hotel again. more
