We reserved a flat of 6/7 persons in “Temples du Soleil”. We were trusting because it was not the first time that we rented a “Pierre et Vacances” location. As soon as we arrived, we had problems to get back our keys of the flat, and yet we arrived Sunday morning instead of Saturday. Indeed, our flat was given to... More

I have been skiing every year bar one for the past 40 years. I have visited several countries and many resorts in each. I went to Val Thorens in 1997 for the first time and enjoyed so much that I have returned 14 times since, staying at Les Temples Du Soleil in 4, 5 and 7 person apartments, more fool... More

I can only it call it the above as that is what it was. Our problems were addressed by the manager and we came to an amicable agreement but on the whole the apartment was tired, dirty and not large enough to be a five person apartment. We have never been in such a bad apartment in the 18 years... More

Not family accomodation at all. Hoards of drinking youths partying and fighting late into the night. Dogs barking and deficating inside and out the building. Broken glass outside and bangers being set off overnight. The appartment smelt damp and dirty, strange stains and damp patches visible. Water from bathrooms did not drain so stagnant smelly water to stand in to... More

The place desperately needs renovation and cleaning up. Kitchen items are missing, terrible beds, worn off shabby furniture, leakage in the bathroom. Only the location is good, you can ski in and out.

I'm still incredibly confused by this hotel. It seems to make literally no sense. I had the pleasure of staying here for the second time in the space of a year on my university ski trip- a prospect that filled me with nothing but reasonable dread. I had hoped they'd made some improvements and updates for my second visit -... More

Very big hotel located in an excellent location. Very easy access to the slopes, own super market open from 8am to 8pm, own ski rental shop open 8.30am-8.30pm, 24h reception. Own garage but book in advance by calling reception (80€/week)! If I could choose, I would take my apartment from Machu or Pichu, the other side is older but fine... More
