Access to slopes is great and the residence itself is fine with good shopping (supermarket) facilities. However, the rooms are quite small and the noise from the Moo Bar is terrible. Booming until 02.00 hrs every night. Even the loud fridge in the kitchen was preferable. We rented privately so cant blame P@V for the noise or that the The... more

The accommodation is much what you would expect in a french ski resort, small, overheated and basic. Positive points are: It has ski hire in the building, good bar for youngsters in the building, mini market, paper shop, towels, bed linen, ski directly to door, comfortable apartments - we has 6 male adults in a 6/7 apartment 2 in bunks,... more

i stayed at this hotel as part of a group of 5 young lads aged 20-25, i must admit that it wasent the best start to a holiday. As we entered the hotel we found a pile of body's, bags and ski's/snowboards covering the floors all around the reception area and beyond, also the queue to check in was unbelieveable with... more

Great place to stay, rooms were comfortable, small but ok, had microwave, hob etc which you need as you cannot afford to eat out! access straight onto the slopes from downstairs so ideal. Rooms really warm, great heating. A little noise at night occasianally but there are security guards roaming around and there is no noise allowd after 10pm so... more

The Bad: We stayed at the Temples du Soleil with 5 people in a 3 room apartment supposed to house up to seven people. One in double bed, two on the sofa beds and two in bunk beds. It was small but fine with five people, it would really be crowed with seven. As in most places, rooms are generally... more

A last minute decision to enjoy the late snowfalls meant limited choice of hotels/accommodations in Val Thorens. One day before and the only place I could book on-line was Temples du Soleil (possibly due to French holidays?). Arrival was mayhem with a long queue at reception (about 30mins to checkin) followed by long queues in the ski hire shop and... more

Stayed in the Pierre Et Vaccances a few times but always stayed in the Macho side of the building. This time we were allocated the Ascar rooms which are appaulling. Firstly I booked a two bed room and got a one bed with a large living room with a curtain across, both sofa beds in the living room were broken,... more

We have just arrived back from Temples du Soleil, Val Thorens (along with our friends and our kids aged from 11 years to 14 years). An excellent weeks skiing and superb accommodation location. You literally ski straight out from level 2 door onto the slope which is perfect as it takes you straight down to the chairlift and gondola -... more

Stayed here in March 2008. The apartments are very small. We had one for 4-5 people, but slept 4 of us in it and by the end of the holiday it was feeling pretty claustrophobic! The lay-out of the apartment was 1 bedroom with bunks and a single bed, which we moved next to the bottom bunk to get a... more
