This is our second time here because we like the modest rooms and delicious food. We like the “Sagittarius” room on the first floor, with its bathroom in a round tower. At dinner we enjoyed the pintade (guinea hen) and lamb chops on the 23 € menu – a bargain for food of this quality. Wines of the Côtes du... More

Top location surrounded by river and lots of bars/ restaurants. But the hotel is seriously old-style with dark old-fashioned rooms and the tiniest shower cubicle ( don't expect to wash your feet!). A very old broken down, dirty pub. Staff ok but cannot speak one word of English. Very expensive, ordinary food and drink. Noisy, grubby....stuffy and mouldy There are much nicer places to camp around here...Avoid if possible.

Good value, of that's what you're after. Set in the finest area for stunning Rhone wines, the list is modest at best, but "good value". Food is nicely served by willing staff, food being again good value but not memorable. Far better than the bars on the front but next time I'll go to the Michelin recommend, being 2 knives... More
