Just returned from a fabulous weekends skiing in Espace Killy. Elisabeth and her team at Le Marais were wonderful; the food was delicious, rooms very warm and comfortable. We would definitely recommend it and hope to return next year. skiing is almost door to door and the choice of runs are limitless. Sally Stephen Simon & Helen CSC

Staff were extremely accommodating and the food was excellent. We arrived in Tignes la Boisses after most things were closed and after getting a very hostile reception at a nearby hotel (which turned out to be prive - so a lesson learned there) the very hospitable folks at Le Marais took us in and looked after us. Best beef I... More

I stayed here a year ago and was astonished to witness the deterioration in that short time when coming back now: Food deplorable and service among the worst ever experienced. When f. instance asking if it was possible to have egg & bacon once for breakfast, the proprietor and madame retorted rudely "-- do you think I can cook and... More

What a strange place! We were five adults staying here for four nights in peak season. This small and fairly charming hotel, which shows several signs of wear and tear, is run by an eccentric and agonistic madame. She told us flat out upon arrival she doesn't actually want new guests (like us) -- she prefers old-timers whom she doesn't... More

The Marais is away from the concrete horrors of 'real Tignes' but is almost ski-in/ski-out during the full season when all the lifts are open. It is not your typical ski rsort hotel (characterless box for a room and various forms of cheese for dinner) but offers something a bit more traditional. We have been going for years and it... More

We have used this hotel for weekend skiing trips to Tignes since 2007 and love it. It is very cosy and nicely decorated right next to the Tignes Les Boisses slopes. If they are not open it is only a 10 minute drive to Tignes. The proprietor is a real character and is always very welcoming. The food is good,... More

A very nice hotel with great views from the window. The room is very nice and little things like British tv channels helped me enjoy my stay. It was one of the cleanist rooms I have ever stayed in, making me think I was the first person to stay in it! For these reasons I give four stars.

This was our favourite hotel on a two-week long birding trip in the French Alpes. We travelled with two children (5 years old and 4 months old) and in this hotel we were taken care of very warmely. Our room had a private entry with views of Mont Blanc from the door window and was big enough to fit us... More

A small family-run type hotel with 12 rooms I believe and it seemed to be run by one helpful, but not very friendly lady, who had about sufficient English. The room was comfortable, clean and warm, had TV which included the British Sky channel, and our balcony had views over Les Boisses. The warm shower was excellent. Breakfast was sufficient.... More
