The hotel is new. The rooms are modern with a sobre design (consistent with the photos on their website). The hotel is well positioned (very close to the slopes) with a wonderful view from the rooms on the mountain. The restaurant is good with a professional staff. I reserved a week through planigo.com in ski dor that seemed nice from the web site and descriptions.But ariving there we had a lot of bad surprises .Starting with the superior and arrogant atitude of the manager of the hotel .The rooms we had 1 and 2 were in the second floor minus and they are the smallest rooms I... more

Just back from the ski d'or. It is a very cosy hotel indeed. The location is perfect, food great, staff friendly and the price is honest. I don't understand were the bad comment from the first poster came from, but for us the ski d'or is the best place one can go in Val Claret. Jan S. - Belgium more

We spend our holiday in this lovely HOTEL LE SKI D'OR. We enjoyed our last 2 weeks with such a nice weather and an excellent snow quality.
