First time review as we felt the reviews previously were inaccurate. The hotel was a basic hotel but good base for a ski holiday. Food was nice although we did eat out a few nights. Breakfast was plentiful, lots of options, the evening meals were lovely, just enough, three courses and bread with your starters, wine was nice and Stella... More

Just returned from a week staying at this hotel. Its run by a Scandinavian company and staffed mainly but friendly and efficient young folk from that region. If all you require is a place to sleep and be fed then this is the place for you. Only 100m from the main uplifts and the possibility of skiing back to within... More

Good basic no frills hotel in excellent location very close to ski lifts and shops. Relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Rooms smallish but ample storage space, comfy beds and plenty of hot water. We actually liked the food here, large choice at breakfast and set menu each night which generally included meat/veg/potatoes, well presented and with wine/beer included. All you need... More

Stayed here in February 2014 for skiing. The rooms were small but clean with plenty of storage for clothes and kit. The beds were narrow, but we did not find a problem sleeping in them. The shower was excellent - powerful jet and no shortage of hot water. The food was of mixed quality. Some meals were excellent and some... More

If your here to basically ski / snowboard as much as possible and just need somewhere warm to rest your head with no sophistication or creature comforts then this hotel is not a bad choice.. Plus points: - Close to the lifts, shops, bars & restaurants. - Always Piping hot water - Great ski / boot store rooms - Sociable... More

This hotel was part of a bargain package that Crystal offered at the Ski and Snowboard Show North. For a budget hotel it deserves 3.5 out of 5, more good than average - shame we can’t show that here. The hotel has several plus points: hearty buffet breakfasts offering a choice of cereals, fried foods, cold meats and cheeses, toast,... More

We came here with crystal ski, and see no merit in using this company,as they do not add any value at all to the experience, how they could have chosen this hotel is beyond me. A youth hostel would probably offer a better experience. The entire standard of the hotel is very poor, the food is very bad, and the... More

Lifts just outside the hotel, great start to any ski holiday. Staff were really friendly and hard working. Rooms were tiny but had all the basics needed, remember, you're not there for the parties in your room! This is a budget hotel, if you're looking for a more spacious place to sleep at night, this is not the hotel for... More

So close because it is next to the slopes So far because it is nothing like a hotel Management of the hotel have no guest relation skills what so ever Staff generally are rude and have an aggressive nature It started in the dining room on the first night when we sang happy birthday to a fellow party member The...
