Stayed for 3 nights over August Bank holiday, hotel is well run and food is good, the staff go the extra mile in terms of service. The owner offered to take as for a 'walk'...be warned make sure you are prepared, it involved a 3 hour mountain hike up to 'Refuge' where we had lunch, a great experience although a... More

We arrived wet and bedraggled over the hills from Switzerland and were given the warmest of welcomes. The room, evening meal and breakfast were excellent. The re-fitted bathroom was a delight. The pool looks good though we didn't fancy another soaking having just dried out! The proprietors couldn't have been more helpful - not something you always associate with French... More

we recently stayed here everything in all the other reviews is very true, easy to walk to the picturesque village. Owners very helpful and we entertained our family most nights to dinner and were surprised to find a very reasonable children's menu (ours were 7 and 10) which they both enjoyed different most nights. The food was exceptional and varied,... More

My Dad sister and I stayed in this hotel for 3 days of summer in 2013 (August), before going to Nice across the border. During our time there we did various activities (Rafting, mountain cycles, water-skiing etc.) We arrived very early in the morning but we were still smoothly and kindly checked in by the receptionist, and it was followed... Stayed here in one of the studios for a week and had a great time. The owners take pride in their family run hotel and want guests to have the best experience. Although we were self catering our studio was cleaned daily and towels and bed linen changed. Dinner in the hotel restaurant was superb and the staff faultless. The... More

My daughter and I stayed in a suite in the main building for four nights. The bedroom and sitting area were not huge but perfectly adequate and nicely furnished. Everything was clean and well appointed, the bathroom and separate toilet were really nice and quite "posh." As many others have noted, the staff are extremely helpful and friendly. English is... My girlfriend and I stayed at Neige Et Roc over the New Year period, and this was out first Hotel we have used for a winter holiday (we normally opt for a chalet). Over this weekend accomodation is rediculous however we got a studio room for under £1000 which is cheap in comparison. The room was small but was more... More

Just returned from our trip to Samoens, dispite the poor snow conditions we had a very pleasant stay in Samoens. The hotel is worth every peny, its not cheap but in return you get very frienly staff, a perfect atmosphere, well equipt bedrooms, very nice indoor pool, in summer also outdoor pool. The only thing that does need immprovement is... More
