Stayed at Les Glaciers for a weekend ski trip in January 2014 with a couple of mates. Location excellent, at one end of the main street, close to the ski bus stop (the main ski lift is a half km out of town). Service very friendly and helpful. Simple but good breakfast. Comfortable bar (no lounge). Clean and comfortable room.... More

Okay, where to start..... The bottom line is that if you want a clean, reasonable, well located, base for skiing and aren't too bothered about an early night or a lie in then this is the place for you. If you want more, you'd better read on. Upon arrival we were greeted by the reasonably friendy lady of the house... More

hotel les Glaciers have opened the terrace as always not just for the guests of the hotel but to the public as well serving drinks during the day & tapas and meat cooked(PIERRADE) on a hot stone in the evening seven days a week, the terrace is well furnished with loungers and chairs better to book for on concert nights... As another reviewer has mentioned, I generally go to a ski resort to ski and am not overly concerned what the accommodation is like, however, after choosing Les Glaciers for a long weekend to ski the Grand Massif area, I was very pleased with my decision. The hotel is very well located at one end of the main street in... More

We booked a room for 4 nights for 3 people during the English half term week. The exterior of the hotel is very pretty with traditional French charm, the reception area is large and we were met by a lovely lady who was quick with our check in. We stayed on the first floor in a room that over looked... More

We were charged €60 for a set New Year's Eve dinner. The service was appalling as the staff were run off their feet. We waited 55 minutes for our starter. The food was poor, cold plates didn't help. What should have been a special evening was a disaster never go there again.

Hello, we hesitated to respond to your message, but today we believe that people who read the tripadvisor reviews should be aware that all are not justified, moreover we have doubts on your, indeed by reading your 4 stories on restaurants in Samoëns, we find that you dine 31 December 2012 for €60 and also at the hotel Edelweiss for... The location of Les Glaciers couldn't be better - follow the town's one way system round and you're bound to see it, right at one end of the pedestrianised 'high street'. Pull into the free car park - job done. It's also but a few steps from the town's bus terminal. There's a nice ambience as the hotel is on... More

We had a lovely short break at this central hotel, the rooms are fine, some of them have a bath, not just a shower, the indoor pool/jacuzzi is nice after a day out in the fresh air. The bar is cosy, we ate in the hotel restaurant, and had a very good meal, with good service. We found that the... More

Nice hotel, very central location in the heart of the centre. As other reviews 'warned' us for the too expensive breakfast (15 Euro p.p), we went to Bar La Cheminée across the street (20 mtrs) and had a great simple breakfast (croissants, baquette, butter, jam, coffee and orange juice) for 5,50. Very good alternative. Les Glaciers had good basic rooms,... More

I go skiing to go skiing, if that's what you want this is an excellent base which is well priced. Went in January with my son we had four days and the snow was amazing. Breakfast fills a whole and has something for everyone, the boiled egg machine needs 3mins 45 secs for the perfect egg in my opinion. It's... More
