We only stayed for 2 nights at the Turan but we were very pleased. This is not a luxury hotel but the room was clean and the service was very friendly. The staff is mostly Italian and you could tell by the meals. Breakfast is basic and I can understand that British people may find it lacking but you will... More

My boyfriend and I have just returned from a week skiing. The hotel is pretty basic but the rooms are clean and warm with readily available hot water. No kettle, and it badly needs more storage. We ended up having to leave clothes all over the place as there was only one wardrobe. Similarly, the bathroom had nowhere to put... More

Positives: Warm room, not too bad a size room (by ski resort standards), nice duvets. Negatives: Looking a bit tired, we paid £1600/wk for a room - unsure if that is good value, it was over New Year but it is a basic hotel. Breakfast is bread + jam - that's about it!! THE WATER SYSTEM IS TERRIBLE!!! After a... More

We stayed in this hotel (third week of August 2013) as a family (two children age 7 and 8 years old). We booked a family room, witch exist of two rooms (1 room with bunk bed, 1 room with queen size bed) and a bathroom in the middle. There was a small balcony with superb views on the snow covered... I stayed at Hotel Turan in June to get in some hard days in the mountains on the road bike. I'm really impressed with the hotel, the food is superb and I've enjoyed everything I've eaten here. The rooms are good, The staff are very welcoming and helpful, and it is a good place to stay if skiing, mountain biking,... More

I am not a big writer of reviews unless something needs to be said both positive or negative, but I have to say, this hotel gets a big thumbs up from me, however it does have its flaws namely: - Breakfast. Unlike the previous reviewer, in my experience, was very repetitive, we stayed 6 days and the menu was basically,... More

Having booked late on booking.com, we weren't sure what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised. Location is ideal for skiing. It is by the main 1800 chair - literally by the boot room door. There were never any queues at this, despite it being half term, whereas the main lifts in town always have big queues at peak tines. We... More
