Previous reviews gave some concern, but at the price we paid we risked it. We need not have worried. I expected basic, clean, comfortable with good food. We got a great welcome, warmth, comfort, and a good attempt at above average food. Being honest, meals were a bit disorganized but no one went hungry and all requests were met. This... More

Having read some previous weeks reviews we were concerned as to what the chalet and service would be like, but we need not have worried as whilst the chalet is basic (as expected) it was clean and warm, with constant hot water and the food and service was simply excellent. We had originally planned to eat out but the food... More

We recently stayed in Chalet les Bruyeres and it was an absolute pleasure. The staff, Craig, Rosie, James and the chef Jordan were incredible and very hardworking and attentive. The food was delicious and the portion sizes were suitable. The skiing was fab and the location of the chalet could not have been better. The standard of cleaning durning week... More

We stayed in this Chalet Feb Half Term In 2014 as well as this year. Both times there were lovely guests staying (plenty of teenagers in 2014, mixed ages of children 2015) and the staff were very friendly. There are a few board games available. The accommodation is simple but adequate and with plenty of hot water for showers. We... More

This is a very basic chalet so don't expect too much when you book. The location is excellent as the bucket and button lift are 100 meters from the front door and there are shops and restaurants within a short walk. The food was average and could have benefited from the addition of a few spices and a little more... More

We stayed at this chalet during Feb half term (which is always a super busy time). We always stay in Crystal chalets as we enjoy the social atmosphere and the prices are very competitive. This chalet had many positives, such as very friendly and enthusiastic staff, good evening meals, lots of free flowing wine, warm rooms, lots of hot water,... More

Just back from a week skiing in Alpe D'huez. Excellent are for a mixed ability ski group and we were blessed with heavy snow and some sunny days so conditions could not have been better. Chalet was well located close to the bucket lift and less than 10 mins walk up hill if bucket lift too busy which it was... More

We have been to les Bruyeres two years ago and found the location, accommodation and food very good. With this in mind we decided to go again. Still excellent location but the chalet staff were well out of their depth. Catering was barely adequate. On the first night we were served a stew and mashed potato, masquerading as beef bourguignon and served... More

Great resort. Young Challet team tried their best but needed a bit of leadership. Hotel very clean and comfortable but food left a bit to be desired. An upgrade on the wi-fi would help. Ideal location for town on lifts.

Travelled as a group of 9 (3 families). Great location next to the bucket lift that takes you to the slopes. Accommodation was very clean and functional, great showers, bags of hot water and belting radiator. The staff were the best bit of the stay, George, James, John, Craig and Rosie were super enthusiastic and really worked hard to look... More
