My friend and I stayed for two nights as part of a bicycling trip and really loved everything about this place. The owners and staff were extremely friendly and always ready to smile or help out. We stayed here the night before we rode our bikes up Alpe d'Huez. It's located about a 6 mile flat ride from the base of the mountain. The majority of the guests at the hotel seemed to be cyclists and hikers which was cool because we were there to cycle.
