We stayed here during half term. The rooms were fine, but the hotel is staffed by kids in their early 20's who are obviously there for the snowboarding, not to learn the service trade! The food was pretty appalling, particularly the kids tea which was frankly inedible at times. There are great views from the rooms and its not too... more

Resort great. Plenty of terrain for all levels or boarder/skiers Hotel location good. Little bit of walking to either bucket lift across town to main ski area or chairlift. Food good. Spent 7 nights at the hotel La Vallee Blanche in Alpe D'huez, it is a fairly typical French ski resort hotel, the main problem is it is run by a large company and consequently you loose out on the personal touch and pride of a privately owned hotel.
