After reading reviews about this hotel, we tried, in vain, to upgrade. I must say I'm glad that we didn't. True the hotel is in serious need of refurbishment, but our room was clean and the view from our balcony was spectacular. The breakfast was great with porridge, fruit, meats eggs and bread setting you up nicely for a day... more

Whilst there is no refurbishment planned this season, the Petit Prince will continue to offer the same level of friendly service and good food.

I feel sorry for the Swedish manager and staff of the Hotel Petit Prince. They have been stitched up for the skiing season by First Choice and Langley along with their customers and most of the problems - with the exception of cleaning - are outside of their control. Yes, the front door has a three-foot crack in the glass,... more

Stayed in Petit Prince with my wife for a ski holiday. The hotel not far from a small chair lift which is open in good snow conditions and will take you to the top of the Signal area of Alpe D'Huez. The hotel is run by a Swedish company, with Swedish staff who were all very friendly and helpful. There... more

My partner and I booked our ski holiday to the Petit Prince via first choice and were informed that it was a First Choice exclusive hotel. That was incorrect as it was run by a company called Langley Travel, a Scandanavian travel company whose standards are obviously well below what I would generally expect from a 3 star hotel. Yes,... more

My wife and i booked this hotel as it was advertised as exclusive to first choice in their brochuer which we presumed meant that it was run by first choice staff, however on arrival we discoverd that it actually was a swiss hotel run by a company named langley and that the majority of guests were swiss and although the staff... more

We stayed at Le PP over New Year. It is situated about 10-15min walk from the resort centre where the swimming pool etc is. The advatages of this are of course it is nice and quiet at night. The disadvantage is after a day on the slopes young children do not have the energy to walk anywhere-let alone into town!... more

Firstly I would like to say that we had a great holiday in Alpe D'huez. The skiing is fantastic with lots of different runs for all abilities. The resort is also good with an outdoor swimming pool (free with lift pass - must wear trunks not shorts) and ice skating rink. Unfortunately, the hotel was very basic. Our room had... more

The Swedish run hotel is in desperate need of touch up and reservation. Listening to the staff, I belive this is going to take place sometime during this year. The hotel feels very 70ties and nothing seems to have been restored/ replaced since then either :-(. The bed linnen is not fresh, the pillows are extremly uncomfortable, the skii room... more

This hotel is in a good location and has excellent views but is certainly not a 3 star rating. The village is ideal and slopes fantastic for all skiing abilities. The only thing that spoilt the holiday was this hotel. Our room was dirty on arrival and we had no wardrobe rail, no TV, a broken radio, a broken light... more
