My husband and I stayed at Hotel Le Pic Blanc for a cycling holiday in July. We loved it. The rooms were super modern and comfortable. Unbelievable, cloud top views. The staff warm, friendly but still professional. And the food was delicious. We did not have one bad meal. It seemed better than its three-star rating. We will stay there... More

Where do I start? What a terrible experience! After discovering bed bugs in our room and developing a rash from the bites, we were not impressed. We reported the bugs to housekeeping who did not know what they were, they then hoovered and sprayed the room with bug spray in a pathetic attempt to get rid of the bugs... Alas,... More

We stayed at this hotel for seven nights as part of a ski holiday. Our room was on the first floor up, right above the restaurant/lounge. Every single night, people would stand below our balcony and smoke/talk very loudly. We asked them repeatedly to be quiet, but inevitably they returned later and made more noise. We called down to the... More

This hotel is situated on the right side of Alp d'Huez (when looking at the pistes). It is directly on the big parking lot, at the side of the shopping gallery and several ski lifts. The hotel garage was fully booked, but the parking lot was well taken care of by snowplow trucks. It took us less then 5 minutes... More

Le Pic Blanc is nicely situated near the ski slopes and from outward appearances seemed to tick the right boxes. The service was very attentive and friendly both at the front desk and especially at the bar. The rooms were clean but basic, with none of the toiletry type stuff you would expect at a hotel. The bed was old,... More

Having just stayed 6 nights on a ski trip in high season I was amazed a the lack of people staying in the hotel especially as it is located so centrally in the resort. The views are tremendous from the rooms across the mountains, the facilities are good including a nice pool and sauna which was much appreciated at the... More

We stayed here for 3 nights whilst watching family and friends complete the Alpe D'Huez Triathalon. My husband also took his bike over, to complete the (much fabled in the bike world) 21 switch back turns going up Alpe D'Huez. The hotel is better than I expected for a 3 star - the wi fi did work (unlike some reviews... More

Under 10mins walk from Huez village centre, we had a superior room which had breathtaking views from our balcony. All services (pool, sauna, WiFi, jacuzzi) worked fine, staff were friendly and helpful. Room was very big and comfortable and the views made waking up a real treat. Buses from Huez to Lyon/Grenoble are only 2 per day in summer (either... More

As a member of a commercial cycling tour, I really enjoyed this hotel with its mountain top vistas of the grand alps. From the room balcony, one sees and hears the river crashing down the gorge, beyond which lie verdant alpine tundra and snow capped peaks reminiscent of a scene from Lord of the Rings. We slept well with the... More

The hotel is walking distance to the Berger ski lifts, BIG plus. It is a 3 star hotel at a 5 star hotel price, which you could justify as half the year there isn't much tourism in Alpe d'Huez. So I presume you have to pay for the days the hotel is empty. We booked a "junior suite", comprised of... More
