My family 2 adults and 2 children (8 years and 10 years) spent a week (Feb half term 2015) at the Bellambra apartments in Alpe D'Huez. We booked through Neilson's and here are the good the bad and the ugly aspects of our holiday. We will start with the good..... The location of the apartments are well placed for ski... More

I booked this through Neilson/Skitracer for three children and my self looking for a great ski experience. We arrived and the rep' never had a welcome pack, ski passes, ski rental vouchers, their contact number nor any interest. Then we had to wait 6 hours along with over 50 other guests for the keys to the apartment. The rep' arranged... More

We booked through Crystal (who were a great company to travel with) and stayed during half term week. We had low expectations having read reviews here. Because it was half term week and relatively expensive, we had none of the problems of noisy groups, it was pretty much all families, we were never disturbed at night. It's a shame the... More

We stopped here in February for 7 days. The rooms are pretty basic, but that was to be expected. We had two rooms between 8 of us, one of the rooms had hardly any kitchen utensils. We knew this was basic accommodation and we didn't have an issue with this Our main issue was there were 400 Belgium University students... More

We stayed here for the 2nd last week of the season. It was not possible to ski in/out, but it was pretty close, especially due to the fast-disappearing snow on the lower slopes. I had read some poor reviews beforehand, but was pleased to find that the management are making efforts to reduce noise after 10 p.m., and wearing ski... More

Rubbish accommodation rooms are damp cold and there's an awful draft coming in from the worn down windows. The beds are by far the worst beds I've ever slept on rock hard no quilt covers a thin blanket and one small awful pillow. There was mould in the corners and clumps of dust on the skirting board, old crisps on... More

Stayed 22nd Fed 14 to 1 Mar 14. Party was three professional males more used to 4 and 5 star hotels. Results were: The apartment is compact but fine for 3 people, good storage space under beds and large wardrobe. There is a sleeping area that has two bunk beds and wardrobe that can be isolated from main room by... More

You get what you pay for - and we didn't pay huge amounts! The little apartment did exactly what it said it would. Nothing more nothing less. It was clean, functional and somewhere to out our heads down at the end of each day on the slopes. It certainly wasn't the Ritz but I can't fault it. Would consider returning.

Just come back after 8 nights in this hotel with family (2 kids under 9). We had a great time and hotel is perfectly placed. Slightly worried after all the negative stuff written on here so thought I'd counter it as we will definately book again. Great value, no noise and we didn't have to pay anything extra. Booked through... More
