For our first ski experience this was our hotel. We won the holiday so it was not a hotel of my choosing. Whilst the staff were lovely, helpful and friendly offering advice, guidance and went out of their way to get us on track the hotel was too basic for my usual requirements. For anyone booking into here be prepared... More

This is a very basic. The only advantage is the location, right on the piste. Other than that, food is awful and we ended up eating out most of the time. The young staff is nice but the managers are unfriendly and borderline rude. Rooms are basic - clean on arrival but hardly maintained throughout the stay. Lots of school... More

Thank you for choosing to visit Alpe D’Huez with Rocketski, and for taking the time to post feedback about the hotel. Hotel Beausoleil is hotel that is used for both adult and school groups alike and we are very thorough in informing people at time of booking, so that they have the choice to continue with us or not. We... More

After reading a few reviews was a little bit hesitant about what to expect... on arrival the five of us were allocated rooms on the top floor. With ski gear and bags in tow we climbed the 4 flights of stairs after realising there was no lift... The hotel It is very basic hotel with a reception area containing two... More

Our group was attracted by a week's half board package for under £350 each and for us this hotel's location within town is good, ski-to-door & a minute or two's scoot from the DMC gondola and Jeux chair. Our twin rooms were more basic than expected although the beds were comfortable. Decor was faded and worn in places, the toilet/shower... More

Given the nightmare of a journey, on arrival at the hotel we were quickly given our keys without fuss. There are no lifts so we dragged our cases up 2 flights of stairs and entered the room. It was as expected, basic but had what we needed. After all, we went for the skiing and not to stay for a... More

I enjoyed my stay as a member of staff on a school trip last winter very much! The food was average, as you expect as a school group. What I did not agree with was the poor treatment of a member of the hotel staff. During our stay a member of staff suffered severe Injurys that required her to spend... More

I Visited this resort on a school ski trip. We could not fault the quality of the rooms as the beds were quite comfortable and an adequate size. The rooms were relatively clean upon arrival, we had to tidy up all of the rubbish from our dorm, but this is understandable as there were 11 girls sharing! The staff were... More

Have just spent a fantastic week at the hotel beau soleil as part of a large group. Having read some earlier reviews I was not too hopeful about the hotel, however the hotel is basic but fantastic value for money, the all English staff were very friendly and helpful, we were on a full board package and the food was... We have just come back from a week at the Beausoleil with 34 students. The hotel is clean, warm and in an excellent position for ski in/out. The food was also just what was needed. But what makes the hotel so good is the staff, who work hard and are very professional. The reps were spot on with the entertainment... More
