Very good rood rooms, with more than enough closet storage. Clean and large bathroom and the beds are really really good! And also, really important, the staff is so nice, and I like the fact that they all speak English instead of french! The drinks in the hotel bar are really good and the bartender was really nice! :-)

We stayed as part of a Tour de France package and was pleasantly surprised with the hotel. We go skiing most years in France, so were expecting the no frills room, but it was huge room with a great view. The staff were all British and really helpful. We thought the meals were great and could not fault the hospitality... More

After reading some of the previous horror stories, I was nervous about staying here as part of our Tour de France package through SportsTours International. I was relieved and pleased to be quickly dispatched to our room and to find it clean with a balcony overlooking the very route the riders would be taking. While dinner was planned for late,... More

This was a good basic hotel for our family skiing holiday. We were a party of five and had two rooms, a twin and a triple, opposite each other on the same floor. Although the rooms were clean with good-sized bathrooms, I was disappointed by their size - particularly as CrystalSki had charged us a supplement for the larger triple... More

We booked the hotel through Crystal and it was well organised from the outset. Flying from Manchester we arrived at Grenoble where it was unorganized chaos for a small airport. We were transferred to the hotel which took about 2hrs up some winding narrow roads. The hotel is located approx 100 yds from the bucket lift which takes you directly... More

We were a little concerned to read the previous review and can only feel sorry for that family. Fortunately our experience was more inline with the majority of other reviews. To reiterate previous comments the hotel fabric is showing signs of age, but no more than other French hotels of this age. This is fully compensated by the Crystal staff... More

Stayed in room 401 16/02/2013 for half term, sounds suspiciously like the room Greg had in the review below. Travelled with my wife and our two kids aged 11 and 14. Have to say we did notice a slight drainy/fusty smell in the hallway but maybe something had been done about it in the interim because it was nothing that... More

First off, I think I should begin by saying that neither I nor my family are fussy sorts, especially when it comes to ski holidays; we always take the view that we're there to ski, not to enjoy a plush hotel experience. However, the week we've just spent at L'Hermitage has prompted me to write one of the few reviews... More

We booked the hotel through Crystal and it was well organised from the outset. Flying from Manchester we arrived at Grenoble and were transferred to the hotel in time to get on the slopes for a couple of hours. A good way to warm up! Most of the reviews are spot on. We were in a group of around 20 people, adults and kids and we had a great time. The hotel is slightly dated but in my experience the rooms were about normal for a ski hotel. What makes the difference is the team they've got there. It's the first time I've been to... More
