As so many have already stated, this is all about bare necessities. However, at £60 a night, it is an absolute steal and easily one of the best deals in Europe. The Good Things: The room and building are clean and secure, though the building itself is located in a fairly questionable neighbourhood. The bed is a Queen (USA)/King (UK).... more

We booked the hotel for a week. Family of 4. (2 young children). If you want a base for Geneva it is fine being right on the border crossing. It's no palace, but adequate and the price reflects this. We booked our holiday via Expedia, and needed a place for 4 big blokes to stay. The Appart 'Valley Gaillard seemed perfect as it offered a studio apartment which slept 4 and a kitchenette.
